CT Radiology Technologist

Life Savers Emergency Room is looking for a qualified CT Radiology Technologist to join our team.

We are seeking PT and PRN RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGISTS  for any of our 3 locations:

Employee Responsibilities

Provide high quality Computerized Tomography and Radiography studies and practice proper radiation safety techniques. Perform a variety of tasks in an environment that requires a high degree of skill, confidence, and autonomy with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively. Radiology/CT Technologists working at our Free-Standing ER’s become proficient in laboratory tests and functions but training will be provided for all laboratory equipment and is not a required skill for hiring.

Qualifications

• Required: Graduate of a 2 year accredited school of Radiology Technology.
• Required: Minimum of 6 months of current experience performing Computed Tomography (CT) and Radiography procedures in an emergency setting or another high-volume area of the hospital is required. Level 1 or 2 trauma center ER experience or freestanding ER experience preferred.
• Required: Current certification from the ARRT.
• Required: Current license by TMB.
• Required: Current BLS for Healthcare Provider by start date. Must have current card from an American Heart Association (AHA) recognized course.
• Preferred knowledge of patient laboratory testing, willing to train.
• Ability to troubleshoot and think critically
• Ability to work in a small environment closely with fellow employees
• Ability to perform on call studies in a timely and reliable manner

• Hourly and On Call Pay Rates Vary: $38-40/hr , On Call Pay varies

We test on site for Covid-19 at all locations. Applicant must feel comfortable being in an environment around Covid testing, positive Covid-19 patients, and lab samples. Appropriate PPE on site and provided by the employer.’
