Bulk testing is a COVID-19 CARE solution that allows employers to test large numbers of people (usually employees) at once, in “bulk.” Bulk testing is ideal for any working environment that has a large number of employees such as offices, manufacturing plants, restaurants, schools or other small businesses.
Testing of staff or employees can be done in a pre-arranged location that is convenient for both your staff and our healthcare team.
Life Savers ER Mobile Testing at your preferred locations is available to any business. Your employees do not need to have symptoms of COVID-19 in order to be tested but you must contact us to schedule testing at your location.
The test is covered by most insurance carriers. Please complete the Request for Testing form and we discuss how many employees you have and when you would like to schedule testing.
COVID-19 has been rapidly spreading through our communities. Many local emergency departments have been overwhelmed by the number of people requesting testing. Not only does this strain our emergency departments, it also means patients may be spreading the virus while in the emergency department. Our mobile testing for businesses will reduce pressure on our local emergency rooms while increasing efficiency and decreasing contact between possibly infected individuals.
Symptom onset for COVID-19 is anywhere between 5 and 14 days. That means that many individuals are spreading the virus before they know they have it themselves. In addition, there are reports of individuals carrying the virus and never experiencing symptoms. Those working with vulnerable populations or taking care of loved ones at high risk need to know that they aren’t unknowingly spreading the virus to others.

Early testing for COVID-19 will allow earlier identification of those infected whether symptomatic or asymptomatic. Isolating these positive patients will help prevent further spread of the disease, and will also enable them to let any previous contacts know they have possibly been exposed. Early testing is also important to the larger public-health picture in that it allows experts to better characterize the prevalence, spread, and contagiousness of the disease in a wider sample of the population.
Since Life Savers ER was founded, it has been our mission to provide safe, comfortable, medical care without a long wait in a crowded emergency room. Providing mobile COVID-19 CARE for businesses helps us further this mission. Widespread testing of populations in other countries has been shown to help “flatten the curve,” identify areas of increased virus activity, and reduce further spread. Free COVID-19 CARE is only available at government-sponsored testing centers. You can search for one of those locations at https://findahealthcenter.hrsa.gov/. Those government testing labs receive their test kits for free and are often the recipient of government and/or emergency funding. Life Savers ER is not a public entity, so our tests get processed at national commercial labs that charge us for this service. Our COVID-19 CARE fee covers evaluation and screening costs, test collection, required supplies, staff expenses, and reference lab testing fees.
Absolutely. Our tests use the same testing used by the Centers for Disease Control and hospitals across the country. We have been working with local government agencies and organizations to open these test sites in order to meet the needs of our community.
